Save a Girl Save a World (SAGSAW), a 501(c)3 non-profit supporting young African-American women at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), works year-round to provide transformative experiences for the next generation of leaders.
Since 2011, SAGSAW has created a supportive community celebrating education, culture and femininity in the face of societal stigma. Through annual summits, seminars, community service projects and global engagement, SAGSAW fosters dialogue, leadership and growth opportunities for the incredible young students it serves.
This Giving Tuesday, SAGSAW hoped to accelerate its mission to expose talented young women to personal and professional development opportunities. While the 24-hour online fundraising push has ended, the organization’s empowering work never stops. Every dollar donated helps provide access to life-changing domestic and international summit experiences. Here students gain exposure to global affairs, network with inspiring women leaders and return to campus equipped to drive positive change.
