We’re excited to share details with the SAGSAW community about the 2022 LEAD Conference coming up on December 1st at Shaw University as part of their HBCU Triumph Project. This annual event brings together our network focused on empowering and providing leadership opportunities for African-American women pursuing higher education.
The LEAD Conference agenda includes incredible networking and resume-building opportunities for attendees from SAGSAW's community of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Students can explore internship options, 500+ seasonal jobs across different industries and forge connections in the STEM space.
The event also facilitates meaningful partnerships between institutions aiming to eliminate racial health disparities and provide greater access for HBCU students to scientific research, academic medical centers and innovative technologies.
Alongside inspiring panels, presentations and discussions, the LEAD Awards gala will also recognize outstanding student leaders and impactful community partners.
